Responsibilities Plan and deliver age-appropriate, standards-based lessons for elementary students. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Communicate regularly with families about student growth and classroom activities. Collaborate with colleagues and administrators on curriculum and school initiatives. Implement classroom management strategies to support positive behavior. Incorporate a variety of instructional strategies, technology, and hands-on learning. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and assessments. Support social-emotional development and foster positive peer relationships. Participate in professional development and continuous improvement efforts.
