History Teacher

Both our Judaic and secular academic programs are designed to facilitate each student's growth and ability to make meaningful contributions to the world around them. Coursework is relevant and applicable as Jewish Culture High School is committed to preparing our students to fully engage in the world. Hands-on learning experiences are as integral to our curriculum as literature, biology, or Talmud. The culture of the school and its commitment to community are essential for creating the student experience that we offer. We are looking for a passionate Science teacher to join our team.
JOB-SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Plan and teach a creative and engaging course that focuses on real-life application and relevance to engage students in multiple modes of class activities that explore in-depth investigation.
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment that fosters supportive exchanges with students and clear expectations.
  • Implement a supportive, student-centered approach, geared toward students on a variety of levels and learning styles by utilizing differentiated instruction techniques.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of subject matter and teaching skills.
  • Organize and manage the class structure to create an environment that is conducive for student learning.
  • Partner with local university or professional labs to provide real-world experience.
