Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable 5th Grade Judaics Studies Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to deepen their connection to Torah, Jewish values, and their personal identity as Jews. This teacher will create a vibrant and meaningful learning environment, guiding students in the study of Tanach, Talmud, Halacha, and Jewish thought.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will: Be genuinely passionate about teaching Judaic Studies and fostering an understanding and appreciation for Jewish traditions, culture, the study of Torah, Tefillah, and the people and land of Israel. Help students develop into responsible global citizens and proud representatives of the Jewish people, instilling a commitment to Social Justice. Demonstrate professionalism, collaboration, and personal integrity in all aspects of their role.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Judaic Studies Teacher, you will contribute to the holistic development of our students, nurturing their connection to Judaism and guiding them towards becoming informed, compassionate individuals.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Judaic Studies, Jewish Education, or a related field with a Rabbinic ordination or advanced Torah learning credentials preferred. Experience teaching Judaic Studies. Proficiency in Hebrew language and ability to teach text-based classes. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and connect with adolescents. Why Join Us?
