This full-time contract opportunity near Chicago, IL, offers the chance to make an impact working with middle school students in a supportive school community. You'll deliver engaging instruction and foster a positive learning environment, utilizing your expertise as a general education teacher.
Key Qualifications:
Active Illinois teaching license and certification required CTE endorsement Previous school-based teaching experience is essential Strong classroom management and communication skills Commitment to supporting a diverse student body and promoting academic success
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans in accordance with established curriculum standards Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to facilitate growth Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to enhance educational outcomes Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and assessment data Participate in school-based meetings, professional development opportunities, and extracurricular activities as appropriate
Role Details:
