08/17/2026 About this opportunity: The Department of Accounting is seeking adjunct faculty for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year and potentially beyond. Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. Please note that applications will remain active for one year. Therefore, if you apply for this position, you may not hear from the department until there is a need to hire an instructor. What you'll do and what you'll bring:
Position Descriptions:
Responsibilities for an Instructor of Accounting is to teach in-person undergraduate courses primarily in the taxation field. Some courses may be online, depending on the semester. We also expect future teaching needs in financial and managerial accounting.
Expected start date:
August 17, 2026
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching classes as assigned for undergraduate accounting courses. Perform other related duties as assigned by the department chairperson.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Master's degree in accounting or business-related field by date of appointment is required. Evidence of current experience in accounting or another business-related field, and the ability to teach in-person on campus, is preferred.
