Notice of Vacancy Salem Middle School - Temporary Position Salem Middle School is seeking a qualified and motivated educator to fill a 7th Grade Social Studies teaching position for the first semester of the 2026-2027 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop lesson plans based upon Indiana Academic Standards Align assessments with objectives and instruction Ability to work with subject matter teachers Use a variety of teaching and learning strategies Utilization of technology for communication, record keeping, and instruction Effective use of instructional time Continue high standards for student behavior
Qualifications:
Successful candidate needs to possess or be able to obtain an appropriate Indiana teaching license. Strong understanding of Indiana Academic Standards Ability to analyze student data and adjust instruction accordingly Effective classroom management and communication skills Commitment to collaboration and continuous improvement
