Our teachers play a critical role in helping students rediscover their confidence, curiosity, and potential. As a Social studies Instructor, you will meet students where they are academically, personally, and professionally—guiding them toward success through innovative and student-centered learning. What You'll Do The Instructor facilitates engaging learning experiences while supporting the academic and personal success of adult learners. In this role, you will: Deliver instruction aligned with Indiana State Standards Implement a student-centered learning environment that meets students where they are academically Utilize a variety of instructional methods including: Direct instruction One-on-one support Self-paced instruction Online learning platforms Apply high-impact instructional practices and motivational techniques to inspire student engagement Develop and continuously improve the curriculum to support student success Collaborate with the instructional team to support student progress and program goals Foster a classroom culture built on grit, creativity, innovation, and encouragement Support students as they build confidence and achieve their educational goals What Makes Teaching at The Excel Center Different At The Excel Center, you will teach motivated adult learners who have made the courageous decision to return to school.
