Home Job Info Teaching Role Description/Criteria Iona College Geelong is a Catholic co-educational secondary school located in Charlemont on Wadawurrung Country within the rapidly growing Armstrong Creek area between Geelong and the Surf Coast. Recognising the need for a second co-educational Catholic college, Catholic Education Melbourne established Iona College Geelong in 2020. Deliver engaging and differentiated curriculum aligned with the Victorian Curriculum/Australian Curriculum. Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and achievement. Model and celebrate behaviours that reflect the values of Catholic Education and represent the College in a positive and professional manner. Engage in ongoing professional development and collaborative practice. Participate in school life, including co-curricular activities and community events.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education. Registration (or eligibility) with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) or appropriate state authority. A commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the Church. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to integrate ICT into teaching and learning.
