Job Description
The Country School is seeking an experienced teacher to teach English, with experience integrating writing with literature, utilizing book groups and genre studies, and a demonstrated commitment to working with middle school students. A long-term sub is responsible for all aspects of the teaching role, including lesson planning, grading, and parent communication. The Country School is located in Easton, MD, and serves students in grades PreK through 8th grade with a total enrollment of approximately 325 students. The Upper School serves approximately 145 students in grades 5-8. In addition to teaching, the faculty member will be a full participant in the life of the Upper School, including serving as an advisor.
