Job Description
Netivot Religious School at Tikvat Israel in Rockville, MD seeks dynamic teachers for 2nd-5th grade in the 2026-2027/5786 Academic Year. We are looking for teachers for Sundays only, with commitments weekly when school is in session, 9:00 to 11:30 AM. Some mid-week professional development meetings will be requested early in the year because the holidays prevent us from meeting on the weekends. Netivot aims to develop a community of children and families with the skills, knowledge, and inspiration to be active members of the Jewish community. Our school is run by Cantor Hinda Labovitz, and experienced educators who have the knowledge and passion for helping Judaism come alive for their students. We strive to make our ancient traditions relevant for the lives of 21st-century Jewish children through our religious core texts, through art and music, and through helping our children find the relevancy to their own lives in their families' traditions and legacy.
