Throughout the year we accept applications for all teaching and staff positions. We ask all interested applicants send their resume and cover letter to Mr. Burton Gildersleeve. 4th Grade Teacher Our Academy is in search of a full-time 4th Grade Teacher, who will fulfill these responsibilities: Teach 4th grade with an integrated approach: Literature (Modern Period): Close reading of classic and historically significant texts. History (Modern Period): Study of major civilizations and events.
Writing:
Instruction in structured writing and foundational compositional skills.
Grammar and Language Skills:
Ongoing development of grammar, vocabulary, and mechanics to improve clarity and precision in writing.
Speaking and Discussion:
Cultivation of clear, logical, and articulate communication.
Bible:
Survey the Scriptures through an immersive curriculum. Instruct with a keen awareness that virtue is the end of a good education. Seek to grow personally in and out of the classroom, and to therefore participate in ongoing professional development opportunities given by the Academy.
