This Social Studies teaching role is ideal for an educator who values collaboration, creativity, and making a meaningful difference for students who need it most. What You'll Do Deliver engaging, hands‑on Social Studies instruction Create a safe, structured, and welcoming classroom environment Build strong, trusting relationships with students Support and implement IEP goals in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team Use proactive classroom management and in-the-moment problem solving Track progress, provide feedback, and celebrate student growth Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, clinicians, and school leadership Contribute to a team culture that supports, problem‑solves and grows together Why Teach at Mount Prospect Academy? Qualifications/Requirements:
