As the SASS Project Manager for SAU 43, you will be the operational heartbeat of our Safe and Supportive Schools grant. Reporting directly to the Office of the Superintendent, you will bridge the gap between high-level grant administration and on-the-ground support for our students and staff. Your mission is to manage the fiscal and operational health of the grant while leading the implementation of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports for Behavioral Health & Wellness (MTSS-B) framework across our district. As the SASS Project Manager for SAU 43, you will be the operational heartbeat of our Safe and Supportive Schools grant. Reporting directly to the Office of the Superintendent, you will bridge the gap between high-level grant administration and on-the-ground support for our students and staff. Your mission is to manage the fiscal and operational health of the grant while leading the implementation of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports for Behavioral Health & Wellness (MTSS-B) framework across our district. Key Responsibilities 1. Project & Grant Management •
Budget Oversight:
Manage the grant narrative, work collaboratively with the business office to ensure all project activities are budgeted, executed on time and within financial scope. •
Strategic Liaison:
Act as the primary point of contact between the district, the NH Department of Education (NHED), project evaluators, and community mental health partners. •
Data & Compliance:
Conduct annual planning processes, collect essential data, and submit progress reports to ensure continued grant success. 2. MTSS-B Training & Professional Development •
Continuous Learning:
Attend specialized MTSS-B trainings and workshops provided by the NHED and project partners to remain the district's subject matter expert. •
Knowledge Transfer:
Facilitate and lead the District/Community Leadership Team (DCLT) to align community resources with school needs. •
Public Speaking:
Use your facilitation skills to train and teach diverse stakeholders on behavioral health systems and trauma-informed care. 3. On-Site School Support (K-12) •
Multi-Level Coaching:
Provide direct coaching to leadership and tiered teams at our elementary, middle, and high schools to ensure prevention and intervention strategies are implemented with high fidelity. •
Team Integration:
Maintain a regular presence on school teams to assist in selecting evidence-based programs and revising school policies. •
Community Connection:
Help establish screening and referral pipelines with local mental health agencies to support students and their families. Quick Facts •

Schedule:
29.5 hours per week •

42 weeks per year. What You Bring to the Team •
Education:
A Master's degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field (additional work experience may be considered in lieu of one year of education). •
Experience:
At least 4 years of professional experience in education or mental health, with at least 2 years focused on program implementation or direct service. •
Mindset:
A deep commitment to the MTSS-B framework and a passion for creating family-driven, youth-guided support systems. •
Skills:
