full-time Adjunct Instructors Wanted for Accounting (all levels) & Auditing for Hunter College (CUNY), Department of Economics and Accounting The Department of Economics and Accounting at Hunter College is seeking qualified adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate courses in-person only beginning Spring 2027 . We welcome applications from experienced professionals, including retired executives, CPAs, and experienced accounting professionals who are interested in sharing their expertise with the next generation of undergraduate students. Due to classroom availability, applicants must be available to teach in one of the following time slots: 1. 9:00/9:30 a.m. - 10:50/11:20 a.m. 2. 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Current instructional needs, in order of priority, include: 1. Intermediate Accounting 2. Auditing 3.
Introductory Accounting Compensation:
Approximately $6,000 per course .
Scheduling:
Courses are offered during the day. Most classes meet twice per week (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday) for 1 hour and 15 minutes per class meeting.
