Qualifications:
Valid state department of education license/permit as determined at the time of appointment.

Meets all mandated state/federal criteria (i.e., approved degree, completion of requisite higher education credit hours/courses, or acceptable score on an authorized professional standards test).Complies with drug-free workplace rules, board policies and administrative guidelines/procedures. Demonstrates dependability/flexibility. Reacts productively to interruptions/emerging priorities. Embodies high ethical standards/integrity. Accepts personal responsibility for decisions/conduct. Exhibits consistent, impartial and resourceful critical-thinking skills. Maintains a record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment. Meets all mandated health screening requirements.
Duties:
Assists assigned students as scheduled, to plan, organize and implement activities that facilitate student learning in the classroom and online. Assists in the coverage of classes as needed. Consults with classroom teachers to clarify student needs. Tracks and communicates program objectives/performance/progress expectations to students/parents. Clarifies and explains subject matters to help students understand concepts and gauge student's level of comprehension. Exemplifies professionalism that advances the district's public image. Helps students understand/embrace ethical conduct and values. Takes initiative to perform routine tasks independently. Maintains open/effective communications. Keeps current with technology and other skills associated with work assignments. Take precautions to ensure safety. Performs other specific job-related duties as directed. Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal.
Contract:
2026-2027 One Year Limited Contract for 183 contracted days during the school year with benefits, 7 hours per day.
