NORTH CANTON CITY SCHOOLS
Certificated Personnel Job Postings Consistent with the Agreement between the North Canton City Schools Board of Education and the North Canton Education Association, the following position is being posted for the period of July 1, 2026, until filled. Long-Term Substitute Social Studies Teacher Two long-term substitute teacher positions need to be filled.
Location:
Hoover High School
Full-time:
7:00 AM to 2:55 PM each school day
Effective Dates:
One position will begin on August 17, 2026, and last approximately six weeks One position will begin on August 17, 2026, and last until sometime in November
Licensure Requirement:
Preferred candidates will have a teaching license certifying them in high school social studies Candidates who have a teaching license certifying them in a different subject, or candidates who have any Bachelor's Degree (qualify them to be on the Stark County Educational Service Center list of approved substitute teachers), will be considered Please indicate in your cover letter if you want to be considered for one or for both positions.
