Course:
Knowledge and Technology in the Humanities This introductory honors course explores humanity's relationships to science (knowledge) and applied science (technology). In particular, this course examines how advances in knowledge and technology have affected humanity. The course's method of exploration is how these relationships and advances have been represented and even conducted by the arts of time (music, dance, words), the arts of space (painting, sculpture, architecture), and combinations of media (television, cinema). Classroom practice of analyzing works of art throughout history lead to reflections on technology through different media.
