Qualifications Research Master of Arts Full Job Description Position Overview:
The Department of History and Geography at the University of Central Oklahoma seeks applications for the position of Full-Time, Non-Tenure Track (Blended) Lecturer in History beginning in August 2026. The course load for this position is 5/5, 15 credit hours per semester, with at least 50% of the classes being taught online. The successful candidate will be expected to teach five courses at all levels of the undergraduate curriculum, including History of the United States to 1877, History of the United States since 1877, and Oklahoma history. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues and professional peers. Participate in university meetings that relate specifically to faculty. Serve on department, college, and university committees as requested. Prepare departmental reports as requested. Experience Required:
An earned MA is required, PhD preferred in history or related field by a regionally accredited or internationally recognized institution is required.
