Lake Tahoe Community College California's Premier Destination Community College Toggle navigation Home Search Jobs Log In /Create Account Help Adjunct Faculty, Intensive Spanish Summer Institute Bookmark this Posting Print Preview | Apply for this Job Position Details Position Information Position Adjunct Faculty, Intensive Spanish Summer Institute Department World Languages Initial Screening Date Preferred Start Date Details Lake Tahoe Community College ( LTCC ) welcomes instructors who are willing to teach in our Intensive Spanish Summer Institute ( ISSI ) for one week typically near the end of July. ISSI courses are Spanish courses, taught either predominantly or completely in Spanish. Prospective instructors should be able to teach in and illustrate a commitment to fostering a learning environment where resources are devoted to developing opportunities for students to break barriers and thrive as scholars and community members. The teaching assignment will be for one week at the end of July, with instructors being on campus from 7:30am until 5pm. (There is a 90 minute lunch break.) The assignments are based on departmental need on an annual basis.
