Job Description
Hebron Academy is seeking a dynamic educator and leader to join our Spanish Department and take the helm of our Boys' Soccer program. All faculty members at Hebron are expected to build relationships with students that foster learning and growth, inspiring them to reach their highest potential in mind, body, and spirit. In our vibrant boarding environment, the successful candidate will participate fully in school life as a teacher, coach, dorm parent, mentor, and advisor. This specific role is designed for an individual who can bridge the gap between academic excellence in the classroom and competitive excellence on the athletic fields.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Teach four sections of Spanish (ranging from introductory to advanced levels). Be available for one-on-one or group help to ensure student mastery of the language. Seek out and implement innovative, proficiency-based pedagogical strategies.
Dormitory Leadership:
Serve as a dorm parent, providing a safe and supportive residential environment. This includes one weeknight of duty per week and participation in the weekend duty rotation.
Advising:
Serve as a Faculty Advisor to a small group of students, acting as their primary advocate and point of contact for families.
Presence:
