Required Qualifications:

M.A. degree in Spanish. Demonstrated ability to teach Elementary and Intermediate Spanish courses. Demonstrated excellent communication and collaboration skills. Demonstrated knowledge of using technology in the classroom. Demonstrated ability to teach online using zoom or a platform like Zoom. Demonstrated 2 years teaching experience at the post-secondary level and/or 4 years of high school teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated understanding of the climate of post-secondary institutions. Demonstrated knowledge of ACTFL World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages. Documentation from ACTFL (OPI) of advanced mid or higher in Spanish. Ability to teach Chinese, German, Japanese or French with HLC credentials. PhD in Spanish. Demonstrated ability to teach Elementary and Intermediate Spanish language courses.
