Required Degree:

BA required; Degree in a music-related discipline preferred. The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:

Proven knowledge of language pedagogy. Advanced-level proficiency in French (ACTFL rating) or native speaker required. Demonstrated experience teaching at a university level in French. Coursework or practical experience in musicology, music history, or ethnomusicology required. Familiarity with French Francophone choral traditions and repertoire preferred.

Duties/Expectations:

Teach and advise students in beginner, intermediate, and advanced level French choral pronunciation. Improve language skills and enhance cultural appreciation through choral singing Adjunct instructors are expected to attend monthly training meetings and collaborate with faculty to maintain consistency in instruction and assessment.
