in Carlisle and University Park, PA invites exceptional candidates to apply for short-term, part-time adjunct faculty appointments for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 Semesters , in the areas of: Advanced Torts Artificial Intelligence in Legal Practice (experiential course proposals on the use of AI welcome)

Corporations Client Counseling (criminal and/or civil client focuses welcome) Conflict of Laws Construction Law Corporate Finance Elder Law Electronic Evidence Environmental Law Externship Sections Federal Courts First Amendment General Counsel & In-House Legal Department Experience Health Law & Policy Intellectual Property Licensing Legal Research Moot Court and Mock Trial Team Coaches Negotiation/Mediation Payment Systems Race, Racism & the Law Real Estate Transactions Real Estate Negotiation & Drafting Restorative Justice Sales State and Local Government Law Transactional Drafting Trauma Informed Lawyering Wills, Trusts & Estates Other areas as needs arise In addition, Penn State Dickinson Law is always interested in increasing attorney or judge taught experiential learning courses. Requirements and Qualifications Applicants should have: A distinguished record of law practice in the subject matter or experience teaching the course subjects. Scholarly or professional publications to the relevant field of law. Participation and leadership in bar association or other professional organizations related to the subject matter. A J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school. Superior academic credentials. While adjunct faculty able to teach live in Carlisle or University Park are preferred, flexible work arrangements, such as remote or hybrid work opportunities, may be considered.
