Positions are not available every semester and are contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding. Appointments are normally made on a semester-by-semester basis, though sometimes a yearlong appointment may be made. Positions are renewable annually, contingent upon funding and performance. Qualifications A Ph.D. in Classics or a related field and a record of teaching excellence are preferred.
