The Lecturer position carries full faculty voting rights, including participation in faculty meetings. Depending on the candidate's qualifications and interest, there may be opportunities to transition to a tenure-track position in the future. This position will be located at Regent University's Virginia Beach, VA campus. At Regent Law, the first-year legal writing program is divided into two 3-credit courses and is overseen by a faculty director of legal writing. The first semester focuses on objective analysis, research, and writing, and the second semester focuses on persuasive writing and oral advocacy.

Qualifications:
JD required Previous work experience, including appellate writing, strongly preferred Professor will teach first-year legal writing and upper-level advanced writing courses. Expectations include 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3) facility with online instructional technology; and 4) a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
