Loch Harbour Group, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Librarian Specialist to support library operations, information management, digital resource organization, and research support activities within a professional federal environment. This position supports daily library services, archival and cataloging functions, document management, digital resource accessibility, and information dissemination efforts in support of organizational knowledge management objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, experience supporting library or information resource environments, and the ability to manage both physical and digital information assets while providing exceptional customer service and research assistance. Key Responsibilities Provide library and information services support to patrons in person, via email, telephone, and virtual collaboration platforms Assist users with research requests, reference inquiries, and access to physical and electronic information resources Manage interlibrary loan requests, document delivery, and resource sharing activities Maintain, organize, catalog, and process library materials, serials, archival collections, and digital resources Support metadata creation, indexing, and information classification activities for historical, archival, and digital records Assist with digitization projects and preservation initiatives for organizational records and historical materials Maintain online catalogs, databases, and finding aids to improve accessibility and usability of information resources Develop informational and promotional materials, newsletters, blog content, and resource communications to increase awareness and usage of library services Support knowledge management and information governance initiatives across the organization Provide administrative and operational support for library systems, records management, and reporting activities Assist with maintaining library technology, user access systems, and electronic resource platforms Coordinate and track resource inventories, subscriptions, and document processing activities Ensure compliance with organizational procedures, records retention requirements, and information management standards
Requirements:
Education Requirements Bachelor's level degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration. Experience Requirements 3 years of professional experience Required Technical Skills Knowledge on Navy
