Astranis designs, builds, and operates its satellites out of its 153,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Northern California, USA. Senior PCB Librarian As a Senior PCB Librarian, you will be responsible for owning and maintaining Astranis' Altium components library. You will work closely with design engineers, component engineers and supply chain on creating EEE parts in Altium and maintaining an up to date and accurate parts database. You will also be responsible for driving process decisions, automating, and supporting the integration of our Altium library with our PLM software. Role Create schematic symbols and PCB component footprints according to manufacturer specifications and Astranis standards Manage component library and provide input on processes and standards to maintain an accurate and organized library Own integration between e-cad library and PLM tool using automated scripting Work with design team on creating and reviewing library components and footprints Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates to our rapidly-growing team. Requirements 5+ years experience with ECAD library management and database knowledge Experience creating and validating schematic symbols and footprints in e-cad tools and maintaining library in Altium Experience writing scripts and automation Experience working with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software (Arena preferred) Knowledge of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes Experience with IPC standards (Class 2/3, IPC-A-610, IPC-7351) What we offer: All our positions offer a compensation package that includes equity and robust benefits. Astranis pay ranges are informed and defined through professional-grade salary surveys and compensation data sources. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, and the level and scope of the position.
