Job Description
Part Time Teen Librarian, Bedford Free Public Library (Bedford)
Under the supervision of the Head of Children's, this part time position will serve as our teen librarian. In this role, you will manage the teen collection, plan and execute programming for this age group, as well as cover the children's room desk. Candidates should be exceptionally organized, energetic, and be able to work independently while effectively managing their time. Strong interpersonal skills and dedication to public service are a must. This is an excellent opportunity to shape an evolving position; openness to experimentation and flexibility are a must. Qualifications
MLIS degree or MLIS candidate and public library experience required, familiarity with Sierra ILS helpful. Schedule is an average of 17.5 hours per week
Wednesdays 12
- 8pm Thursdays 9:30
- 4:30 pm alternating Saturdays 9:30
- 5pm Sundays at time and a half optional.
