The person in this position will provide support for Research and Instruction and is also tasked to create a new historical collection honoring the university founder, Dr. Pat Robertson. This position reports to the Dean of the University Library.
Work Location:
Virginia Beach, VA Essential Functions :
Provide research assistance in person and virtually for designated hours Implement appropriate courses and training tools for library instruction Provide collection development for areas assigned Develop, organize, and manage the Robertson Archives Work with the Chancellor to collect and document the Robertson materials Additional responsibilities include participating in librarian professional development activities and library meetings, and serving on designated Regent University committees.Qualifications :
Education:
This position requires a Master's degree from an ALA accredited institution. Second master's degree preferred Prerequisites for the job: 3-5 years prior experience working in an Academic Library setting providing instruction and research assistance. Knowledge of emerging educational models and methods desirablePersonal Characteristics:
