Additional Information:

Supports the functions of the Winnie M. Lowe Family Resource Center, including the Medical Library, Safety Zone and Family Library. Assists with the library lending, cataloging, book and journal processing, copying articles and simple computer trouble shooting. Work collaboratively with patients, families and staff members to deliver services and resources. Areas of focus will be library services, patient and family centered care initiatives and injury prevention efforts within the Resource Center.

Required Education:

Keeps accurate circulation records in online circulation management system and manually where needed. Prepares new books for cataloging and circulation with title page copies property labels, taping & call numbers. Shelves books and journals. Shifts books and journals on shelves as required. Processes or discards donations as needed. 2. Maintains online catalog's accuracy by checking shelves for books and submitting catalog changes. Checks in journals and maintains accurate records of volume, issue and date per copy. 3. Copies articles for staff and process interlibrary loan requests. Sends articles by email for patient care. 4.
