- Proof of education equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.
REQUIREMENTS
Education equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Two years of responsible clerical experience, work related to library/media center highly desirable. Submit with the application a typing certificate for 40 net/corrected words per minute, typed during a 5-minute timed test from an accredited school or agency. Pass the District Clerical Test and any combination of written, oral, and performance tests which may be administered to secure the best qualified applicants. The Division of Human Resources requires a typing certificate from an accredited school or agency, dated no earlier than twenty-four (24) months before the opening date listed on the job ing on EdJoin. The typing certificate must be attached to the EdJoin application. Human Resources will not accept online certificates or e-mailed test results from typing websites. Typing test requirements and a partial list of local agencies that provide typing certificates can be accessed using the link: "Typing Test Requirements & Locations (Updated 08/2018)". The typing certificate must contain the following information:- Agency's official emblem
- Name of applicant
- Score identified as words per minute typed during a five (5) minute timed test
- Date of certificate
- Signature of person certifying the certificate
- Address and telephone number of agency
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Per Article 10.1.2 of the CSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement, unit members shall have first consideration for the vacancy.
