The City of Dover is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of part-time Library Page in the Dover Public Library. Job Responsibilities Shelving library materials Shelf-reading in assigned areas Shift library materials to make room for new acquisitions Direct customers to library collections and resources Refer customers to appropriate staff for assistance Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED is preferred Applicants must be able to put materials in numerical and alphabetical order Able to communicate effectively in English, using spoken and written means Requires standing, walking and bending, all the time Retrieve carts and rolling bins that may weigh up to 150 pounds or more Lift arms above shoulder level, bends and reaches above and below the waist on a continuous basis Basic computer skills including use of personal computers, calculator, computer scanner, and copier To view the entire job description, please visit, https://www.cityofdover.com/job-titles-and-rates and click on DOE Union Employees Job Titles.
