Library Assistant I City of St. Petersburg - 3.8 Saint Petersburg, FL Job Details Part-time $18.01 - $25.82 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Customer service High school diploma or GED Full Job Description The St. Petersburg Library System is seeking candidates for multiple part-time Library Assistant I positions. Library Assistant I positions are front-line public service positions, responsible for providing excellent library service and friendly customer service to staff and patrons of all ages, including but not limited to: circulation and reference services; technology assistance; and cash handling. Successful candidates may be scheduled to work at library locations around the city and will be scheduled to work evenings and weekends on a rotating basis.

Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalency. Be able to travel between library facilities as needed. Have previous experience working with the public and providing customer service. Be familiar with technology across a variety of formats and devices. Desirable Qualifications.Preferred applicants:
