Library Associate II Georgia State University Library Collection Development & Discovery Located on six Georgia State University campuses throughout metro Atlanta, the University Library provides faculty and students with open and inviting educational facilities and an active online experience. As an integral part of the University community, the library welcomed more than 1.4 million visitors in the past year. HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO
The University Library is seeking to hire a Library Associate II on a full
- time basis at our Clarkston campus .
The scope of the responsibilities will include these essential duties but is not limited to the following: Deliver prompt, high-quality support by addressing and resolving user inquiries and issues. Monitor and respond to departmental communications, escalating issues when appropriate. Complete assigned and self-selected training and workshops on the use of library systems, including updates and changes in workflows, functions, and procedures. Perform data entry, reporting, and record management. Communicate updates, issues, and concerns promptly in accordance with procedures. Assists with collecting, organizing, and maintaining departmental data to support operations and decision-making. Assist as needed in departmental projects and specialized initiatives. Other duties assigned.

Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED and three (3) years of related experience, or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Hiring Requirements:
Recent experience in a college or university Familiarity with the use of computers Knowledge of library circulation processes in an automated environment
