Position Overview:
This position performs tasks related to incoming and outgoing mail and other Library shipments. Performs tasks related to processing and copy cataloging of serials, periodicals, gifts, and board games. Coordinates annual bindery shipments and performs data entry and cleanup in the Library's integrated Library system and research information management system. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
Working with minimal supervision and in a team environment to accomplish shared goals Using computer software and applications for word processing, spreadsheets, email and internet research Entering and retrieving data using computerized record systems Editing and writing business correspondence using proper grammar and punctuation as demonstrated in application materials
Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Other:
None Additional Preferred:
Academic Library experience Experience and/or education working with Library bibliographic records Experience with integrated Library systems Experience with Library computer software Experience with MARC format, AACR2 and/or RDA cataloging formats Commitment to continuous learning and flexibility to changes in the work environment

Ability to lift, carry, or otherwise move materials weighing up to 30 pounds
