Learning Resource Center (LRC)
Assistant Job Summary:
Job goal is to maintain efficient operation of the Learning Resource Center and building technology. Must be proficient in computer skills which include: Google Suite (or similar), word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation applications, email and the Internet. Assists students and staff with LRC Materials and Technology. Maintains the proper circulation of LRC Materials and Technology. Provides for the proper care of LRC Materials, shelves and files. Maintains an updated database of LRC Materials and the circulation program. Processes requests for LRC Materials and Technology. Maintain an orderly and organized environment to promote staff and student learning. Assists the Learning Resource Center Specialist in various tasks such as preparing interest centers and displays, contributing to collection development, maintenance and inventory. Facilitate the effective operation of building technology through troubleshooting, maintenance and other technology related functions. Processes all new procured LRC Materials in all formats obtained. Maintain LRC operations in absence of LRS. To perform other duties and assumes other responsibilities as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
ParaProfessional Statement of Approval issued by the Illinois State Board of Education.
Working Conditions:
194 work days (includes holidays) 6.5 hours per day 10 paid holidays
Pay Rate:
$19.67 - $21.50 Dependent upon experience
