This includes preparation of a complete annual inventory and annual report to be submitted to the principal.4.Preparation of the annual budget, including all library materials and technology requested by department heads and teachers.5.Develop efficient system for circulation of instructional materials and equipment to students and faculty. Takes necessary steps to ensure that materials and equipment are maintained with a minimum loss of availability for use.6.Provides for a well-balanced collection which will serve students educational needs and satisfy their recreational interests.7.Develop a library/media program which instructs students in the proper use of resources - (including orientation in research skills involving the library and Internet) - . stimulate interest in recreational materials available to them.8.Plans activities or displays which will encourage extended use of library resources.9.Encourages a productive supervised environment in which students may pursue various educational and recreational activities.10.Presents and discusses materials with a class researching a particular subject area.11.Develops and maintains a professional library for the use of school staff systemwide, and conducts an active program throughout the year to keep faculty aware of the availability of professional library materials.12.Performs other duties as assigned.
