Job Description
Library On-Call Substitute, Newburyport Public Library (Newburyport)
On-Call Substitutes perform various tasks in the Circulation and Children's Departments relating to the circulation of materials, including but not limited to checking books in and out, ILL activities, answering patron queries, registering new patrons, and other duties as necessary. Reference Substitutes perform various reference tasks including answering patron queries, locating and placing holds on materials, assisting patrons with public computer use, and other duties as needed.
Hours and salary:
- Day, evening, and weekend shifts as needed
- $20.00/hour
- No benefits Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, MLIS or classes towards MLIS preferred
- Experience with Symphony ILS preferred Full/Part Time Temporary Education BA/BS Salary $20.
