COMPENSATION:
Grade 4 Non-Union Pay Scale $23.19/hr to $30.44/hr
DOQ HOURS
Average 17.5 hours per week (Mondays 9 AM-2 PM, Tuesday 3 PM-8 PM, Fridays 9 AM-2 PM, and alternating Saturdays 9 AM-2 PM)

WILBRAHAM
PUBLIC LIBRARY, CRANE PARK DRIVE EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
Assists the Children's Librarian in the operation of children's library services and programs, including development and delivery of special programs and projects, provides reference services, assists patrons in the use of library materials and electronic resources, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of experience working with children in libraries or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience is required; educational background in childhood or adolescent education and development preferred; one-year experience in a position demonstrating programming abilities, customer service skills and excellent communication skills (must speak and write English). Must be able to read from a variety of print sources, be able to type, be able to carry, lift and shelve books and other materials, and must be proficient in computer technology skills and library related software.
