Reference Assistant, BiblioTemps (Wilbraham Public Library) (Wilbraham)

Schedule:
6-11 hours per week; Monday 9AM
  • 12 PM, Tuesday 5PM
  • 8PM, Saturday (every other) 9AM
  • 2PM
Pay Rate:
$20.75 per hour depending on experience.

Description:
This position will primarily serve at the Reference Desk and will assist patrons:
  • Help patrons with technology to include computer, wifi, printer and scanner use
  • Provide reader advisory and reference services
  • Check in and out materials
  • Assist with various circulation functions
  • Help with opening and closing of library when needed
  • Assist with special projects as able

Recommended Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from a four-year college or university required, with some work in library science. Experience working in a library preferred. MLIS Students are encouraged to apply. Full/Part Time Temporary Education BA/BS Salary $20.75 / hour Closing Date
