Job Description
Job Type Part-time Description Emmanuel d'Alzon Library Assumption University Worcester, MA Assumption University d'Alzon Library seeks a part-time, academic-year Library Services Coordinator to work Monday through Friday mornings, and occasional holidays. Associates degree or equivalent required, library and supervisory experience is preferred. This position has a starting salary range of $18.00-$20.00 per hour. The Library Services Coordinator supports library services by assisting library users, supervising student employees, and providing technical services support while maintaining a positive public service environment in support of the mission of the University. This position is 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday during the academic year (summers off). We value the ability to work collaboratively while demonstrating initiative, resourcefulness, and commitment to providing excellent service. Library Services Coordinator activities include circulating materials, assisting students and other library patrons in locating and using library resources, including responding to facility issues as needed. This position assists with interlibrary loan activities, collection maintenance activities and ongoing library projects. As part of a team, the Coordinator participates in student staff hiring and scheduling, provides initial and ongoing training, and assigns and monitors student staff work.
