Job Description

Student must have: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures. Dependable, responsible, and able to work scheduled hours consistently. Ability to provide courteous and professional customer service to students, employees, and visitors. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn library systems and technology. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. work independently and as part of a team. organize materials and perform routine tasks with accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using printers, copiers, scanners, or other office equipment. Familiarity with library resources, catalog systems, or campus services.
Summary of Duties:
Provide customer service and operational support for library services by assisting patrons, maintaining library materials and records, and supporting daily library operations. The Student Employee performs circulation and administrative tasks, processes materials for intercampus delivery, assists patrons with library technology and equipment, and helps maintain an organized, accessible library environment. The position requires attention to detail, effective communication, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while developing library-specific knowledge through on-the-job training.
