Job Description

To assist with the duties of a high density storage facility that houses library items for Bowling Green State University, University of Toledo, and its Health Science Campus.
Note:
This role is performed at Levis Commons in Perrysburg. Applicants must have reliable transportation.
Career Readiness Competencies :
Critical Thinking Professionalism Technology Operates an order picker (retrofitted fork lift) to retrieve/shelve library materials. (Training provided.) Unloads and trays items for processing. Creates barcodes and input/manipulate data in our automated library systems. Prepares outgoing materials for delivery/unpacks incoming materials including checking in/out in computer. Scans articles for interlibrary loan requests. Shredding and other clerical related tasks as assigned. Constructs cardboard trays. Performs on-going inventory of collection. Have dependable transportation and possess a valid driver's license. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to obtain certification to operate an order picker and work at heights up to 30 feet. Familiarity with basic office equipment and computers and possess accurate keyboarding skills. Ability to work in 50-60 degree temperatures year-round. Possess an eye for detail. Perform other duties as assigned.
