We are looking for a new colleague to join our Discovery and Access Team at University Park and King's Meadow Campuses. It is part of the Content & Discovery Section of University of Nottingham Libraries. The university is one of the biggest in the UK with campuses in China and Malaysia. As one of five Senior Library Advisers, you will take day-to-day responsibility for cataloguing and classifying new resources across our library network and support researchers to deposit their journal articles, conference proceedings, books and book chapters in our repository, including advising them on publisher requirements, copyright and the university's Open Access Publications Policy. You will undertake procedures for the electronic management of PhD theses. The team's work is organised on a rota basis. At times, you will need to work independently and work with colleagues across other areas of University of Nottingham Libraries. Applicants will be tested to see if they have the potential to learn cataloguing and classification and the ability to find information about scholarly publications on websites.
