Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic educational team as an Upper-Level Math / High School Math Teacher, where your passion for mathematics and dedication to student success will inspire the next generation of thinkers and problem-solvers. In this role, you will deliver engaging, comprehensive lessons in advanced math topics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry, statistics, differential equations, and discrete math. You will foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning while utilizing innovative learning technologies and curriculum development strategies. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for upper-level high school math courses. Utilize various learning technologies to enhance instruction and facilitate interactive learning experiences. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student success. Incorporate real-world applications of math concepts Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and special education needs; collaborate with colleagues on differentiated instruction strategies. Engage in ongoing professional development in areas like higher education teaching techniques, early childhood education principles, computer science integration, and classroom management best practices. Strong background in curriculum development across various math disciplines including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus (including differential equations), statistics, discrete math, and linear algebra. Familiarity with integrating technology tools such as learning management systems (LMS), educational software for data analysis or simulation programs. Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying educational needs; knowledge of special education strategies is a plus.
