We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and student-centered High School Math Teacher to teach grades 9 and 10 who is committed to helping students build confidence, develop critical-thinking skills, and achieve success in mathematics. Position Overview The High School Math Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, standards-aligned mathematics instruction while fostering a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mathematics, effective classroom management skills, and a genuine desire to build meaningful relationships with students. • Instructional Planning:

  Develop engaging lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that align with curriculum standards and support diverse student learning needs.

• Classroom Instruction:

  Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction to students in grades 9 and 10, incorporating a variety of instructional strategies to promote student engagement and achievement.

• Assessment & Data Analysis:

  Regularly assess student progress, analyze academic data, and adjust instruction to address learning gaps and support continued growth.

• Classroom Management:

  Establish and maintain a positive, organized, and structured classroom through high expectations, consistent procedures, and proactive management strategies.

• Relationship Building:

  Develop strong, positive relationships with students, colleagues, families, and community members to support student success.

• Student Support:

  Provide appropriate academic interventions, enrichment opportunities, and additional support to meet the needs of all learners.

• Collaboration:

  Work collaboratively with colleagues, school leadership, and support staff to promote instructional consistency and student achievement.

• Professional Growth:

  Actively participate in professional development, staff meetings, and collaborative planning opportunities.

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field preferred.
• Valid Arizona teaching certificate with an appropriate secondary mathematics endorsement preferred or Highly Qualified Status based on degree or classes taken at the college level.
• Knowledge of effective instructional practices, classroom management, and student assessment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and families.
