Job Description
Arroyo Pacific Academy is looking for a math teacher for both the day program and the after school program. We are committed to providing our students with the best possible learning environment, where they can grow academically, intellectually, and personally. We are looking for a math teacher who will be responsible for instruction in middle and high school Math courses as well as our unique STEPS math program covering 1st grade curriculum through Algebra. The teacher will also be responsible for grading assignments on a timely basis. Responsibilities Assist students primarily in math subjects Grade assignments accurately and in a timely manner Maintain a quiet and organized classroom Monitor students' progress and provide feedback Follow all school policies and procedures in accordance with school policies Cooperate with other teachers and staff to support our students Experience/Qualification/Education Bachelor's degree Helpful, patient, and kind personality Previous experience in teaching preferred Experience in handling student matters such as resolving disputes, monitoring for safety during breaks, etc. Knowledge of relevant educational material
