JUNIOR HIGH MATH AND HEALTH TEACHER
$50,000-$70,000 annually, DOE (depending on experience) St. Finbar School (Burbank)

Job Summary:
The Junior High Math and Health Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, standards-based instruction in mathematics and health education to middle school students. The teacher fosters a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports academic growth, critical thinking, and student well-being.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a closely related field required. Valid teaching credential (or eligibility to obtain one) appropriate for teaching mathematics at the junior high level. Demonstrated knowledge of the middle school math curriculum and effective instructional strategies. Ability to create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment that supports diverse learning styles and student needs. Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills. Commitment to collaboration with colleagues, students, and families to support student success. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
