Middle School Math Teacher E-Plex Quail Hill Irvine, CA Job Details Part-time $23 - $30 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Full Job Description E-PLEX Quail Hill is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Math Teacher to support students in Grades 6-8 in a structured and engaging afterschool learning environment. This position provides an opportunity to inspire students, strengthen academic skills, and foster confidence through effective instruction, personalized support, and a positive classroom experience. Our program focuses on developing students' mathematical understanding, and problem-solving skills through engaging lessons and strategies that support different learning styles. This part-time position begins in mid-August for the 2026-2027 school year.

PM Work Location:

In person Responsibilities Teach Math to students in Grades 6-8. Deliver engaging lessons in middle school math, including Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1. Provide individualized instruction to support student learning and growth. Build students' problem-solving, critical thinking, and mathematical reasoning skills. Maintain a positive, organized, and productive classroom environment. Monitor student progress and communicate with families as needed. Record attendance, lesson notes, and student progress using the program's student management platform. Collaborate with staff to support student success and program goals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (preferred) Experience teaching or tutoring middle school students (preferred) Strong knowledge of middle school Math curriculum (preferred) Excellent communication and classroom management skills Responsible, organized, and team-oriented Join E-PLEX Quail Hill in helping students build strong academic foundations, confidence, and lifelong learning skills through meaningful instruction and mentorship

Pay:

$23.00 - $30.00 per hour
