In this role, you will deliver engaging algebra instruction, develop comprehensive curricula, and foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Your expertise will help students build a solid foundation in algebra and related mathematical concepts, preparing them for advanced coursework and real-world applications. Deliver clear, engaging lessons on algebra topics including linear equations, inequalities, quadratic functions, and systems of equations. Develop and update curriculum materials that aligns with university standards and learning objectives. Utilize learning management systems (LMS) such as POPULI to facilitate course delivery, assessments, and student engagement. Incorporate diverse teaching methods and technology tools to accommodate different learning styles and enhance understanding. Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, exams, and class participation; provide timely feedback to support improvement. Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking among students.. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred. Proven experience teaching algebra at the university or adult education level with classroom experience preferred. Strong knowledge of algebraic concepts including geometry, trigonometry, differential equations, and calculus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations. Demonstrated ability to motivate students and adapt teaching methods to meet varied learning needs.
